Nigeria: United Arab Emirate Monarch Honours Vaswani

The family of Chairman of Stallion Group of Companies, Mr. Sunil Vaswani last week played host to the monarch of the United Arab Emirate, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and senior government officials of the emirate.
Sheikh Nahyan was the guest of honour at the wedding of Haresh Vaswani, the younger brother of the multi-billionaire businessman. The wedding held at the 9-star palace Emirate's Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Other ceremonies organised as part of the wedding held in Madinat Jumeirah, Al Qast and Governor House.
The events were attended by delegations of ministers, diplomats, judges, senior advcates and ambassadors from Europe, Asia and various West African countries including Nigeria, Ghana and Angola.
Also in attendance were business leaders from Asia - Pacific, Africa, Europe, USA and the Middle East.The scale and calibre of celebrations reminded invitees of the grandeur that was associated with the recent wedding in France organised by teh Mittal family. The celebrations included fire works, entertainment events by Indian film stars and music and dance performances by leading Arab stars. There was also a large attendance from Bollywood including Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Fardeen Khan, Katrina Kaif, Dia Mirza, Mallika Sherawatt, Neha Dupia, Koena Mitra, Urmila, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Nigam, Sushmita Sen amongst others.
Sunil Vaswani spearheads a business conglomerate with headquarters in Dubai and spans investments into banking, commodities, real estate, industries, automotives, shopping and services with presence in 18 countries and 54 locations.
Speaking on the occasion and welcoming guests, Sunil Vaswani said, "we are highly inspired by the leadership in the UAE and have progressed admirably. Thanks to the excellent socio-economic environment created in the country. We pledge to pursue our activities in alignment with the economic goals of the country as passionately as we do so in other countries. Thanks to the leadership, we feel very much at home here."
